787 Dreamliner (Queen of Sheba) |
"Fire broke out on the Ethiopian Airlines plane on Friday afternoon (local time) when it was parked at a remote stand with no passengers on board, eight hours after arriving from Addis Ababa.
No-one was injured.
"There has been extensive heat damage in the upper portion of the rear fuselage, a complex part of the aircraft, and the initial investigation is likely to take several days," the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) said in a statement."

I saw that this plane was called " The Queen of Sheba" when I saw this story here-
Planes, Trains and Automatic Syncs
and then I saw this passage about the Queen of Sheba -
" Why did the Queen of Sheba come to visit King Solomon?
We are told in the Holy Bible that when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones.
We are also told that she came to prove him with hard questions.
And we learn that when the Queen of Sheba had seen and tested Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built, and the splendor of his court, and the number of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord she was overwhelmed.
How did Sheba learn of the wisdom of King Solomon?
The leader of her trade caravans, Tamrin, owned 73 ships and 787 camels, mules and asses, with which he journeyed as far as India.
Having also traded with Israel, he brought gold, ebony and sapphires to Solomon, for use by his 700 carpenters and 800 masons who were building the great temple of Jerusalem."

Nice catch - though very creepy. Ties in with the usual "British Israel" suspects. I suspect we will get some stories about just how rich the Royals really are, I think Solomon had 666 talents of gold, or something. Oh wait...
ReplyDeleteBritain's royal baby billionaire even before birth
London: As Britain counts the hours before Prince William and Kate Middleton announce the birth of their first child, a global intelligence firm on ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals has estimated that the royal baby could inherit as much as 1 billion pounds in royal legacy.
Wealth-X found that the unborn child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is already a billionaire, given the fortunes of the immediate members of the British royal family, including great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, great grandfather Princes Philip, grandfather Charles and father William.
Queen Elizabeth II, who celebrated her diamond jubilee as Britain's monarch last year, tops the wealth stakes with a personal net worth of $ 660 million
Thanks Darren! It's highly suggestive and I'm sure we are going to see more and more of these strange links as the summer progresses. It's damn freaky right now!
