Paranormal Podcast 516: What Happens After We Die?

I listened to the above free podcast 'What Happens After We Die?' at Jim Harold's 'The Paranormal Podcast' during the week and while I found it quite good it wasn't really anything new to me, but I kept getting a nagging feeling that I should write a post about the show to pass it on (pardon the pun).
What Happens After We Die – Paranormal Podcast 516
I have no idea who Elizabeth Robinson is, even though I'm an Australian who's into woo-woo stuff myself, but the fact that I'm trying to write a post about the ocean, the Siren and the name Elizabeth didn't go unnoticed to my WTF inner radar.
Plus, Elizabeth had the surname Robinson, which made me think of this old post of mine -
Robin at Son's Grave Moves Mum to Tears
Mrs Robinson' robin
Still, as much as I had this nagging feeling to write this post, I didn't want to write it, so I put the thought out that if "you" want me to write this post up (whoever this "you" was that is) then send me a sign and I will.
As soon as I thought that thought I opened my sliding door to go out and throw some bottles and newspapers into my recycling bin and a butterfly very much like the one I wrote about in this post nearly flew right into my face and tried to fly into my house -
A Butterfly That I Felt Was Worth Crowing About
I hadn't seen one of those butterflies in my backyard since I had written that post linked above.
Unfortunately, I didn't have my
cell phone on me at the time, so I didn't get a photo of the butterfly in my backyard yesterday.

But now I knew that I had to write up a post about this podcast, because I basically lost a bet with the universe here and had to honour it.
I also went to the cinema right after this butterfly incident to see the movie 'Downsizing' and in that movie quite a big deal is made about the significance of butterflies.
So OK, I get it ... write the post up.
Matt Damon's father passed away around the same time the movie opened in the USA.
I didn't know about that until writing this post and seeing it mentioned in the trivia about the movie at the movie's IMDB page.
Matt Damon's Father Kent Damon Dies After Cancer Battle
"Kent Damon, 74, died Dec. 14, Damon's rep confirms, explaining why Matt Damon missed the recent Downsizing premiere in Los Angeles."

  2. I think I might have to give you the nick-name of "boomerang" Trish.
If I had a dollar for every-time you have said that you would return to listen to a podcast linked on this blog, then I'd be up-sizing to a house in Byron Bay with that kind of spare change maybe?-)
But you guys would be welcome to drop in stay and play by the bay I say.
    :-)
