Magical and Micro Moons of 2018?

I read an article last weekend in a local newspaper supplement named 'Body and Soul' about the special moon events coming up in 2018, but one moon in-particular called a "Micro Moon" got my attention, because I hadn't heard of a "Micro Moon" before.
There is one coming up on January 17th this year, but I don't know whether it will be worth a look, since it will be so far away from the earth.
I also noticed that we are in the sign of Capricorn right now, which makes me think there's another ironic coincidence when it comes to astronaut John Young's passing away on January 5th this month.

Another Denver Nugget for X-mas?
And of course, David Bowie was a Capricorn and passed away in his birth-sign of Capricorn.
Probably all sounds Loon-ey tunes, right?
Then again, maybe Capricorn is just kidding with us?-)
