The Voice of an Angel

Very gut-punchingly sad news this morning of the passing of Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer of 'The Cranberries', who I once had the pleasure of listening to in person when the band played the Riverstage in my hometown of Brisbane.

I'll be playing my Cranberries CDs today and thinking of Lyall Watson's quote from his book 'Supernature' -

"... living things are involved in an open dialogue with the universe, a free exchange of information and influence that unites all life into one vast organism that is itself part of an even larger dynamic structure."

Your music lives on Dolores, as you do too in some other angelic form that matches your earthly voice.

But still it's going to be a sad day down here on earth with the rest of the zombies.
