'Shelby Oaks' has hit Australian cinemas on October 23rd, which is 'National Horror Movie Day' (in America I presume), but unfortunately, I can't get out to see it today or tomorrow.

Reading the reviews about the movie at 'Rotten Tomatoes' makes me wonder just who is telling the truth about the movie, not that I trust 'Rotten Tomatoes' reviews or reviewers on past cinema experiences.

I like this RT reviewer's review above comparing Chris's movie to a backed longshot who starts the race well, but fades in the straight, more or less.
Well Charles, I don't mind putting a few bucks on a long shot if it gives me an honest race, as I wouldn't be expecting much by backing a longshot in the first place ... pardon the racing pun there:-)
I'm willing to risk a few bucks on a long shot, as long as I get a decent race.
And if he does, I'll see it again or buy a copy of the movie.
Now, that's a bet I will honour.

It was previously set to be released on August 22, 2025, and then October 3, 2025."
I would have thought August 22nd was a good day to release 'Shelby Oaks' at the cinema;-)UPDATE: October 26th, 2025
I thought it was a good horror movie, so I don't know what all those jaded hack reviewers at 'Rotten Tomatoes' were on about with their splat reviews?
