Could Chris Stuckmann Review 'Shelby Oaks' Honestly?🎥🤔🎬

'Shelby Oaks'
has hit Australian cinemas on October 23rd, which is '
National Horror Movie Day' (in America I presume), but unfortunately, I can't get out to see it today or tomorrow.
Every October 23rd
But I will make an effort on Saturday to get my ass on
a cinema seat and watch it.
Reading the reviews about the movie at
'Rotten Tomatoes' makes me wonder just who is telling the truth about the movie, not that I trust
'Rotten Tomatoes' reviews or reviewers on past cinema experiences.
70% fresh?!
70% is quite a good critic score for a movie over on that site, but I'll write my own HONEST review once I've handed my money over for a ticket this weekend.
I like this
RT reviewer's review above comparing Chris's movie to a backed longshot who starts the race well, but fades in the straight, more or less.
Well Charles, I don't mind putting a few bucks on a long shot if it gives me an honest race, as I wouldn't be expecting much by backing a longshot in the first place ... pardon the racing pun there:-)
I'm willing to risk a few bucks on a long shot, as long as I get a decent race.
I'd still like Chris to review his own movie at his movie review site, though.
And if he does, I'll see it again or buy a copy of the movie.
Now, that's a bet I will honour.
Every October
I'd consider it a crime if I didn't go to the cinema and help out a future writer/director this month:-)
This channel has no content
that matched
"Rabbit Trap."
I notice that there is no review of 'Rabbit Trap' on Chris Stuckmann's movie review site, for all of his talk about supporting small films at the cinema.
24Bryn Chainey—Rabbit Trap,
and brave filmmaking
"'Shelby Oaks' is scheduled to be released in the United States by Neon on October 24, 2025
It was previously set to be released on August 22, 2025, and then October 3, 2025."
I would have thought August 22nd was a good day to release 'Shelby Oaks' at the cinema;-)

UPDATE: October 26th, 2025
I thought it was a good horror movie, so I don't know what all those jaded hack reviewers at 'Rotten Tomatoes' were on about with their splat reviews?
