I often put in an Apple Podcast search for the term "Synchronicity" to see what recent podcast episodes are available to listen to on the subject, and a few weeks ago I saw that there was an old Art Bell radio show from 1998 featuring James Redfield, so I had a listen to it.
Funny thing is that a day or two later I found a copy of The Celestine Prophecy in a street library when I was donating a book to it.
It was a reprinted 2009 edition, which I have since placed back into that same street library for someone else to read.
The author's note in the reprinted 2009 edition
So, while I had no intention of reading the book again, I took it home with me as a reminder to find out whatever happened to James Redfield, as I knew thatArt Bellhad passedaway in2018 -
I've listened to the Art Bellpodcast episodea few times now since I first listened to it andthe podcast episode from 1998 is an interesting listen from a 2025perspective, knowing what we do know, and don't know in 2025.
Art starts off that 1998 radio show by mentioning an article about his radio show in Penthouse magazine, and about Area 51, and what do you know, I found this book below in an Op Shop around the same time I found The Celestine Prophecy in the street library:-)
I stumbled across this book in 2025, the Year of the Snake:-)
I read the Area 51 book and was thinking about donating it to the street library, but I liked the picture of the JANET plane taking off pastThe Luxorin Las Vegas, as I stayed in that building while I was inVegasthis year -
I like how James attributes the writing of The Celestine Prophecyto a crow he saw in Sedona, Arizonia, in the back of that 2009 reprinted edition I stumbled upon, as the crow I see as my totem animal ... I like to imagine, anyway:-)
Maybe the "Book Angel" put The Celestine Prophecy in my way so that I would go on a quest to see and hear whatJames Redfieldhad been up to since our paths didn't cross all those years ago at the Byron Bay Writers Festival when I thought they were going to?-)
This podcast episode above was one of the more current ones I found, which was uploaded to Apple Podcasts on the 14th of August this year, but it sounds like an old episode to me.
The latest podcast episodes I could find in my Apple Podcast search that mentioned James Redfield were the latest'Standing in the Light' episodesbreaking down the 12 insights.
But as I write up this post only 6 have been covered, so far.
