Frankenstein Friday is celebrated on the last Friday of October, which just happens to fall October 31st this year, which of course is Halloween, as well:-)

I saw the 2025 Netflix movie version of 'Frankenstein' last Sunday at the cinema and it's rather good and that's the place to see it I reckon, if like me you don't have a home cinema set up.

I went and saw the movie because Frankenstein's monster is played by Jacob Elordi from my hometown of Brisbane and because the last book I finished reading (Gravity Let Me Go) was full of refences to Mary Shelley's novel and is set in my hometown of Brisbane also -
