When I was walking down to the bookstore past the hairdressers (where the neon rainbow is in the above photo) I saw a hairdresser talking to a security guard like something was happening, or had just happened, but I didn't see anything going on at the time, then about 10 minutes later a screen is up and there are cops, security guards and ambulance officers all standing around a screen that had been put up since I had been past.
I have no idea what happened, I just presumed someone had been assaulted or stabbed, since knife crime is a problem in Australia right now.
There's so much senseless crime around in the world these days and looking back at that screen makes me wonder if it was a random attack and could that have been me laying on the floor with first responders all around me trying to save me?
