Nottingham Forest after just
eight games in charge

I wrote a post in July how I had given up following Spurs after the club, led at the time by Levy, sacked Ange -

I wasn't a fan of Nottingham Forest, but I was wishing Ange some success at his new club.

Ange was hardly given a chance at Forest, but I could see the writing on the wall about a fortnight ago, especially after the Newcastle result.

Ironically, I had bought a bottle of mead on 'National Mead Day' after watching the Russell Crowe movie 'Robin Hood', which takes place around Nottingham and features the drinking of mead.

I had planned on toasting Ange's first win as a Nottingham Forest coach with a few glasses of mead, but that can't happen now.

Here's to your future Ange.

I don't follow any Premier League teams at the moment, having gone back to supporting my old childhood team Coventry City in the league below, this year.
