How to Celebrate National Thrift Shop Day? 🎾🎾🎾🎾🤑

Every August 17th

Today is 'National Thrift Shop Day' and ironically, today was one of my volunteer days to work in one.

I found it amusing when reading the 'National Thrift Shop Day' website this morning before going to work that someone actually donated 4 tennis rackets to our shop today:-)

"A snow globe of Detroit, Michigan, a set of four tennis rackets with slightly frayed strings, clothing galore, and enough housewares to make a few houses full and have some spares just in case.
This is just some of the kinds of things you will be seeing on this, the celebration of National Thrift Shop Day."

Someone even donated 'The Never-Ending Story' trilogy on DVD, which of course I bought:-)
