W. P. Kinsella Passes Away in Baseball's Biggest Year?!

Does anyone else think it was rather weird that the guy who wrote 'Shoeless Joe', which was made into the movie 'Field of Dreams' passes away in one of Baseball's biggest years with the other Chicago team breaking a 108-year losing streak against the Cleveland Indians?
William Patrick Kinsella's work often concerned baseball and First Nations people.
It certainly was synchy for me that W.P. Kinsella passed away on the 16th of September, because that was the day of my father's funeral and I've written other posts on this blog about Kinsella and the movie 'Field of Dreams'.
