It Ends with Us (2024)

I first watched 'It Ends With Us' when I got back from America earlier this year, mainly because the movie was mostly set in Boston.

My son told me when I asked him which city in America that you have been to most reminds you of Brisbane, and he told me Boston!?

I've never been to Boston, but form what I have seen of the city in movies and TV shows I thought to myself WTF?!

I watched 'It Ends With Us' again on Amazon Prime last night to get the screenshots I needed for this and my last post -

And because it was Blake Lively's birthday:-)

When we came back from America it was the St. Patrick's Day weekend in Sydney and our first full day back in our hometown of Brisbane was going to be on Monday (St. Patrick's Day), so I had bought a six pack of Guinness before we left and had it waiting in my cupboard to put into the fridge, so I would have Guinness to drink after I got home from work that afternoon.

When I first sat down to watch 'It Ends With Us' to check out the Boston scenery in the movie, I had one of the six bottles of Guinness I had bought for St. Patrick's Day (I didn't drink them all on St. Patrick's Day) in my hand and was amused to read the words "DARK AND LIVELY" on the front of the bottle, having read about all the controversy surrounding Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni at the time.  

Watching the movie again last night for my second ever viewing I realized I must have missed the line about Singapore, considering how my trip to Singapore with my son for August was already locked and loaded.

Maybe I'll have to check out Boston now?
