McDonald’s as world’s biggest

I had not heard the song "Rock & Roll McDonald's" before reading the 'International Strange Music Day' page at the 'Days of the Year' site.

But it did remind me of 'Burger Day' for some reason and how Mc Donalds has been knocked off the number 1 fast food chain in the world by a Chinese fast-food chain called MIXUE.

I visited a MIXUE outlet in my hometown on Friday to try a melon icecream cone for $3.60 (Australian dollars).

It was OK, but melon flavoured stuff isn't really my first choice when it comes to icecream or drinks.

The store owners had just turned on the icecream machine when I made my purchase, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for the machine to warm up (or cool up:-) and as I'm waiting outside the store pigeons started flocking around me looking for food, and just having returned from Singapore where feeding pigeons is a $500 fine, I was thinking how nervous I would be if I was in Singapore in this situation:-)

I have to admit though when I think of Strange music, I think of Fade to Grey for some reason;-)
