Having chocolate cake in the fridge from time to time is bad enough, without having cookies in the pantry, as well:-)
Although, around Christmastime I do tend to buy a tin of Danish cookies, as my mother's side of the family are mainly of Danish origin, and according to my latest Ancestry.com updates I'm a majority of Danish DNA (22%), with 15 other origins, including Northern Indian (1%).
Although, now as I log in Ancestry.com have taken that Danish majority off me and now I'm only 13% Danish, with extra Swedish DNA this time?!
Now my German DNA is slightly the majority of my 16 DNA regions breakdown ... until the next update at least:-)
I give up trying to piece together my DNA origins through Ancestry.com, as they move the goalposts every few months for mongrels like me and you have no idea who you really are, as far as family history goes when you are trying to figure out who bonked who to get you. It's like watching an EPL football table change every week during the season and just which team is on top at any given week.
Oh, and apparently my English DNA is mid-table now, bumping my Scottish, Irish and Welsh DNA down a peg or two.
There was a time about a year back that Ancestry.com told me (or didn't tell me) that I didn't have any Irish and Welsh DNA ... but now I do apparently.
MyHeritage.com tells me another story though, with their recent updates.
Although, it looks like MyHeritage.com might have another story to tell me tomorrow?
Funnily enough, when I came back from America earlier this year and was in Sydney, I bought a tin of Danish "Style" Cookies from a 7/11 type tourist shop next to the hotel I was staying in.
Turns out they were made in India:-)

Which I thought was kind of funny, with my DNA being a majority Danish and a minority Indian ... at the time anyway, according to Ancestry.com:-)
Maybe I should just make a metaphorical Christmas cake every year using my metaphorical DNA ingredients and then throw in a very large pinch of salt?-)Now, where did I place my tea towel?
At least I know that I have German DNA in my family tree, unlike Miranda Otto does, or thought she did:-)
Who Do You Think You Are ... Because Ancestry.com Sure Don't Seem to Know Either?π§π§¬π‘π²π
