Every December 17th

My son bought me a Kindle last Christmas because he knows how much I love reading books.

I just never thought I would take to reading a novel on a Kindle device, as opposed to reading a paperback novel.

And guess what?

I haven't.

I hate reading a book on a Kindle device and would much rather read the paperback version instead.

But I do like and appreciate my iPad, mainly for listening to podcasts.

And while I don't make a lot of calls from my iPhone (I still have a landline) I do appreciate it for texting and to take photos with.

So, while I won't be giving three cheers today for Kindle, I do appreciate my other two portable devices on a day like today.
