Benjamin Stevenson is a fiction crime writer who just happens to be an identical twin and who wrote a book about a crime based in Australia during Christmas in Australia, at a time of the year it doesn't (usually that is) snow, because it's the middle of summer down here at Christmas.
He also has identical twins in this Christmas story, and with today being 'National Twin Day', 'Flake Appreciation Day' as well as 'National Crime Junkie Day' I couldn't help thinking of a panel Ben was on that discussed the ethics of crime writing and the fascination with the general public's consumption of true crime books and podcasts.

"Flake Appreciation Day celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of snowflakes. This special day highlights how each snowflake is a marvel of nature, with no two flakes being exactly alike.
This day encourages people to pause and appreciate these tiny, delicate works of art that fall from the sky, creating a peaceful and enchanting atmosphere."I also wrote a post about Candice Fox (who was also on the crime writing ethics panel), who writes crime fiction, but seems to have a great interest in true crime stories to inspire her fiction crime writing -
