Paltrow Learns of 9/11 Sliding Doors Moment (story from ABC News site)

This is an interesting story I read this afternoon on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation website;

"Gwyneth Paltrow has received a letter from a woman who believes the actress may have inadvertently saved her life on the day of the September 11 attacks on New York nearly 10 years ago.

As the world prepares to mark the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Paltrow has told Reuters she was more closely involved in the events of that day than she had known at the time.

"Basically what happened was I had gone to a yoga class very early," the actress said in an interview in Venice to discuss her new movie Contagion.

"I was on the way home and it was the morning of September 11 - not that I knew at the time what that meant - and a girl was jaywalking across the street, and we kind of both stopped at the same time and waited a really long time."

Paltrow said she and the woman did "this stop-start thing" for a time and began to laugh before the woman finally went on her way.

"Ten years later I got a letter from her saying that she had been late for work and we had that thing and she went down to the Christopher Street station to catch her train to go down to the World Trade Centre where she worked on the 77th floor of the South Tower, and the train was just pulling out.

"So had we not had that interaction she feels like her life would've taken a much different course.

"She called it her 'Sliding Doors moment'," Paltrow added, referring to one of her movies in which the plot follows different paths based on whether or not she catches a train.

"It was an extraordinary story and all I could think about is all of the people who had experiences like that that day, but aren't able to reach out because it wasn't a recognizable person," said the 38-year-old Oscar winner.

"She saw it was me so she was able to get me a message, but I think a lot of fates were changed that day, obviously, and I am very humbly happy to be a part in her story."

Contagion, which is not in the main competition at the Venice Film Festival, has been well received in early reviews.

The film, directed by Steven Soderbergh, also features Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Jude Law and Kate Winslet and tells the story of a deadly disease that quickly spreads around the world causing panic.

Particularly in its examination of how governments react to a crisis, some of the film's themes echo the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers."

Jon Ronson's Doco on David Icke

Jon Ronson author of The Men Who Stare at Goats made this documentary about the reaction Icke got on his Canadian concert/book tour a while back.

I found it very interesting indeed, especially being of Jewish decent myself, mainly from my father's side.
So I could see the argument from both sides here, but I side with Jon. 
David Icke has a valid message to deliver about freedom and is not in my opinion an anti-Semite.  
Sure, some of his ideas are "out there", but some of them are really worth thinking about, in my opinion. 
There are good and bad in all races and religions, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Israelis, British, Australian, American, Black, White, Yellow, etc. 
It's a matter of sorting out the good from the bad, and not labeling one group as bad and another as good.
Every group is made up of good and bad.
We all have to work together for the good of all.

I Like Icke ... Even Though I Don't Necessarily Agree with Everything He Says

I managed to get hold of two of the last 500 tickets to go on sale for David Icke's Gold Coast show on September 24th.
I ummed  and ahhed whether to get them, but when I thought I had missed out, I was quite disappointed with myself for not being quicker.
As luck would have it though, the venue managed to make room for another 500 seats.
I'm not a real big fan of David Icke, but I do admire his guts to tell it how he sees it, even if he does have a few ridiculous theories in his kit.
I think he is pretty spot on with the way the elite operate (or would like to anyway) and people do need to think when it comes to the main stream media, and not take them any more seriously than a lot people take David Icke. 
It's always good to get some different viewpoints on current events and history, whether it comes from such sources as the main stream media, or David Icke, but the bottom line is, "think for yourself".
I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing David Icke this September, I think it will be interesting to say the least.

I do however agree with him here in the above clip, but the so called "New World Order" is really just the "Old World Order" tightening the grip, as the sheeple hand back over their hard won rights, that our ancestors fought so hard to hold on to.
Oh, and notice how Building 7 is hardly ever mentioned on 911 ... there are some great shots in the above clip showing it falling straight down into itself ... has to make you wonder, surely?
Let's hope there is no repeat this year of trying to spread this sort of fear.
