I saw 'The Odyssey' today at the cinema for the third time since its release.

This time I saw it while sitting in a DBOX chair in an xtremeXscreen cinema. 

A cinema complex is just made up of a lot of Backrooms?-)

The more I see the film, the more I like it.

Thomas Thorogood You Tubes

I watched the two Thomas Thorogood You Tubes at the top of this post when I came home and found them interesting takes, even though Thomas likes to view movies through a "Christian" lens, and I through a Jungian/Synchromystic lens.

Still, I like seeing his take on movies as they come out, such as his 'Backrooms' and 'Obsession' explanations, and I also like Jake's takes of those movies.   

On the way home from the cinema in my quest to find a good American style beef hot dog during 'Hot Dog Month' I dropped into a local restaurant that had hot dogs on the menu.

Alas, I'm still searching for a good American style beef hot dog in Australia, even though the ones that I ate while I was in America were nothing to write home about, either:-)

I'd rather eat a burger than a hot dog, if given the choice.

I've written posts about David Metcalfe before on this blog, but I'm not too sure what he has been up to recently.

I did have the above screenshot in my old 2021 post, but I don't recall whether I actually listened to that podcast at the time, or how much of it I did.

It's certainly worth a listen from a 2026 perspective, I think.

I also found a You Tube titled 'The Trend of 'Saved' Witches & New-Agers - My Thoughts' by a guy I heard on the 'Third Eye Drops' podcast a few weeks back and wondered who he was, since he is a fellow Australian, by the sound of his voice, and I hadn't heard of him before hearing him on the 'Third Eye Drops' podcast.

He runs a You Tube channel called 'Lifting the Lamp', which looks interesting, but I haven't listened to many of the You Tubes there yet, but I certainly do agree with his views on Doreen Virtue.

I'm not into witchcraft, "magick" or Christian dogma (as in a "believer") ... or even UFOs/UAPs, but I like to hear what "believers" in these fields believe.

It makes me laugh how humans have to form cults around beliefs, and it's their way or the highway if you say you don't believe some of the things they tell you that you have to believe.

I've been working my way through the podcasts I found about moth and butterfly signs, which look interesting to me, and what these podcasters think about their own encounters with these creatures of the universe.
