There's the Doughnut and There is the Hole, and You Should Keep Your Eye on the Donut?πŸ©πŸ‘“πŸ‘€πŸ•³πŸ‡

I try to minimize my consumption of
doughnuts, but Friday was 'National Donut Day' as well as 'Queensland Day', so I bought 2 doughnuts from Galactic Donuts and got one more for free, because as the owner of the store told me when I bought my 2 doughnuts, that it was Donut Day, as I wrote in my post yesterday -
Every June 6th
It was also 'National Fish and Chip Day' on Friday, and since I was having a fish and chip meal Friday night, I placed my 3 doughnuts in my fridge to eat over the weekend, because there is only so much food you can eat in one day, if you want to be able to still fit into your current clothes size.
I offered my son the free jam filled doughnut on Friday, and he ate it to the relief of my stomach and mind.
But one thing I noticed was that none of the doughnuts on the Galactic Donuts menu had holes.
I'm not worried about my height like the person in the You Tube above (I'm 5 foot 6, too), I'm only worried about my weight, because I hate shopping for clothes and like the clothes I fit into now.
The reason behind my choice of doughnuts on Friday (and I hate white chocolate, by the way) was that Bryce Courtenay worked on The Milky Bar Kid TV commercial in the 70s, and I'm trying to finish his novel 'Fortune Cookie' before me and my youngest son jet off to Singapore for 5 nights soon.
I started reading 'Fortune Cookie' at the beginning of this year and am still only halfway through the book now, while my son read it all before we went to America in February this year -

"Courtenay entered the advertising industry and, over a career spanning 34 years, was the Creative Director of McCann Erickson, J. Walter Thompson and George Patterson Advertising. His award-winning campaigns included the original Milkybar Kid commercial."
Every June
And the choice of the Mango Macadamia doughnut was because Friday was also
'Queensland Day' and mangos and macadamia nuts are synonymous with the Australian state of Queensland, where I live and where I was born.
There's a lot of nuts living in Queensland;-)
Every June 6th
Friday, or Friday night rather, was 'National Drive-In Movie Day' as well, but the Brisbane Lions were playing the Adelaide Crows on TV that night and the only movie I could see playing on the 3 drive-in screens that night that I wanted to see was 'Final Destination: Bloodlines', which I saw on Saturday at the cinema.
The Brisbane Lions game turned out to be a bigger nightmare for me than the movie was, but you can't outrun your fate it seems:-)
