I try to minimize my consumption of doughnuts, but Friday was 'National Donut Day' as well as 'Queensland Day', so I bought 2 doughnuts from Galactic Donuts and got one more for free, because as the owner of the store told me when I bought my 2 doughnuts, that it was Donut Day, as I wrote in my post yesterday -

I offered my son the free jam filled doughnut on Friday, and he ate it to the relief of my stomach and mind.
I'm not worried about my height like the person in the You Tube above (I'm 5 foot 6, too), I'm only worried about my weight, because I hate shopping for clothes and like the clothes I fit into now.
The reason behind my choice of doughnuts on Friday (and I hate white chocolate, by the way) was that Bryce Courtenay worked on The Milky Bar Kid TV commercial in the 70s, and I'm trying to finish his novel 'Fortune Cookie' before me and my youngest son jet off to Singapore for 5 nights soon.
I started reading 'Fortune Cookie' at the beginning of this year and am still only halfway through the book now, while my son read it all before we went to America in February this year -

The Brisbane Lions game turned out to be a bigger nightmare for me than the movie was, but you can't outrun your fate it seems:-)
