Apophenia and Pareidolia: The Owls Aren't What They Seem ... or Are They?πŸ¦‰πŸ‘€πŸ€”πŸ‘Ό⛅

I keyed up the term "Apophenia" into the Apple Podcast search engine on my iPad recently and a number of podcasts came up for me to listen to, one in particular caught my Apophenic mind having recently had a cup of damn fine (American) coffee and a piece of cherry pie in North Bend, Washington state where the Twin Peaks series was filmed -
WikiListen: Apophenia
Hearing an owl flying overhead could be a bit difficult with a human ear;-)
I saw this '15 Minute Free Thinking' podcast episode below as a sign I should listen;-)

Making Sense of the Senseless:
Unveiling the World of Apophenia?
I love listening to shinks who think the universe is a meaningless place, which to me is just their view or lack thereof.
Most shrinks are just under the illusion that they are sane, while everyone else who don't share their view is more or less crazy, in my expert opinion;-)

S01 E06: Apophenia
I wouldn't have listened to this 'The Switchboard' podcast episode above if it wasn't for me having a case of "Apophenia" where I thought maybe I should.
My first reaction in trying to listen to that episode was, "what is this F#cking S#it!" and after a few minutes I turned it off.
Then I got up and turned on my computer and saw this screenshot below and decided to play the episode right through.
I listened to the whole 10 episodes of what is basically a weird radio play about a host of a radio broadcast from a lighthouse on an isolated island broadcasting to a world that seems to be hit with a world ending pandemic.
And this show was recorded in 2017.
The Switchboard
The show seems to be recorded in Dublin, Ireland from what I can gather and features one song per episode from some local Irish band or singer.
The song in the apophenia episode is a remix of Sugarplum Suicide's 'Rabbit Hole'.
Which ain't bad in my non-expert opinion;-)
I like how in that episode the host introduces the word "Randomania" to describe a tendency to dismiss or refusal to see obvious connections and patterns:-)
My father passed away on Roald Dahl's
100th birthday in 2016
'Sing Along Funeral Songs' by 'Whiskey Rebelion' is featured in episode 2.
'Temple' by 'Birdeatsbaby' is featured in episode 3;-)

The Mel Robbins Coincidence?πŸ€”
'Till It's Over' by SJ Tucker is featured in episode 5.
'Incubus' by Hana Piranha is featured in episode 7.
'Overboard' by Kim Tillman is featured in episode 9.
The funny thing is that all this year since my trip to America my "Apophenia" seems to be suggesting that I take a trip to Ireland.
And at the end of every 'The Switchboard' episode it is suggested if you are ever in Dublin, why not checkout 'The Clockwork Door'.
I thought maybe I should look this place up and check it out if I do go for a trip and I find out it wound down this month:-(
