How to Celebrate Children’s Book Week?๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿง

Someone donated
'The Elf on the Shelf' book minus the elf to the Op Shop I volunteer in, so I bought it to maybe give to my granddaughter this Christmas, but after reading it myself, I thought it seemed a bit creepy, and I donated it to a street library.
I never realized how much of an industry these elves were until I watched the above REMORANDOM video.
Santa Store
You can buy a lot of accessories for your spy elf, too.
I recently saw a whole shelf full of 'Elf Mates' at a petrol station when I went to pay for my fuel and bought one, thinking that these were a rip off of the 'The Elf on the Shelf', but it turns out that they are made by the same company.
I ended up putting the 'Elf Mate' next to two creepy looking Annabelle/Raggedy Ann dolls that someone donated to the Op Shop on Friday March 13th this year and I bought them.
"Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll that is claimed to be haunted. According to paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, the doll frightened its owner, so it was moved to their (now closed) museum in Connecticut during the 1970s. Academics and science writers have dismissed their claims as myth and folklore. A character based on the Warrens' story is one of the antagonists that appear in the fictional Conjuring Universe."
I don't think that my
Annabelle/Raggedy Ann dolls are haunted, but I wouldn't be surprised if that 'Elf Mate' was:-)
Now I just need to get a c
aganer to place with those three dolls.
