What Makes an Australian an Aussie?🌏🤔💭🦘🎭🖌🎨

I was looking at some recent pictures from the Bondi Observer website and saw the posters in the above photo and remembered the first time I ever saw a Peter Drew poster pasted to an outside wall in Hobart in 2016 and thinking, "what's this all about?" -

Most Australians are a mongrel breed when it comes to DNA, like myself, who has about 16 different DNA (and counting?) groups that make me me, according to websites like Ancestry.com.
Even a lot of my Australian "indigenous" mates are a mongrel breed too and wouldn't be here now if their "white boat people" ancestors didn't land here a few hundred years ago.
