The movie focuses on a few long-distance ocean swimmers, particularly Mark Sowerby, former CEO of a company called 'Blue Sky' that went under in the late 2010s.
I knew nothing about Mark until I saw the movie, even though the guy is from my hometown of Brisbane and lived down the freeway at the Gold Coast.
"Across five continents and seven ocean channels, one man confronts fear, uncertainty, and trauma in a fight to reclaim his life."
I admire people like Mark, who pretty much are betting their life that they can make it to their planned destination without having a heart attack, or be attacked.
But you wouldn't get me swimming 100 metres in the ocean, never mind 42km.

But you wouldn't get me swimming 100 metres in the ocean, never mind 42km.
As I've written on this blog before, I don't see the point in risking my life if I don't have to, just for having a bit of "fun" in the water.
