I watched this latest short video of Jake Kotze's above tonight (Australian time) and thought, "Ryan was born in 1980, the Year of the Metal Monkey, which seems synchromystically appropriate for space travel movies:-)

Anne was born in 1982, the Year of the Water Dog, an animal the Russians seemed to favour until they killed one in a space experiment to beat the USA to the moon .... which is another can of worms:-)"

I haven't seen either film yet.

And while 'Project Hail Mary' has been in Australian cinemas for weeks, 'Mother Mary' isn't going to be released for another week or so, to coincide with the Mother's Day weekend over here in Australia.
