Best Before 09/05/2026?🥄😕/😵

I felt like some sardines on bread today and pulled out my apple cider vinegar from the pantry to mix into my mashed sardines and wondered how old my apple cider vinegar was, as I was sure I bought it over a year ago?
So, I checked the use-by date on the bottle, and it was today:-)
The sardines would have been alright for another 2 years.
