Eerily and Somewhat Prophetic Death of a Filmmaker?

I just saw in a news headline that a young Canadian filmmaker has died while filming a sequel to the movie 'Sharkwater' -

The sequel was going to be called 'Sharkwater: Extinction' and on the Kick-starter page Rob wrote, 
"Undertaking a documentary like SHARKWATER: EXTINCTION is a huge challenge with many risks.
I almost died making Sharkwater as we went up against a billion dollar industry, pirates, mafia rings and corrupt governments. SHARKWATER: EXTINCTION will be a great challenge to produce - tackling an even more powerful industry, the black market for seafood (20-30% of the seafood that hits your plate is illegal!) working on the high seas, and bringing light to this issue. Filming sharks is the easy part!"

Hopefully the film still goes ahead as a legacy to Rob's endeavour to shed light on this issue.
