Oblivious Oblivion?

I like the new Katy Perry video with its not-so-subtle messages and while this BBC article breaks down the video for "us", like all forms of art, the music clip seems to suggest a lot more when you look closer -
We break down Katy Perry's video for Chained To The Rhythm
"Are we crazy? / Living our lives through a lens / Trapped in our white picket fence / Like ornaments / So comfortable, we're living in a bubble, bubble / So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, trouble."
Maybe the train ... or roller coaster has already left the platform?
Looks like there is no room for Gay
relationships
on this ride either?!
F#ck Valentine's Day, It's Ferris Wheel Day
It's just a ride ... but I would say buckle the f#ck up, anyway, because it looks like it's gonna be a rough one.
And I think that the BBC is wrong when they say, "As Katy loops the loop, we see another ride, which hoists tiny suburban houses towards the sky. Suddenly, it malfunctions, and the houses plummet to the ground. A metaphor, perhaps, for the US housing crisis, where reckless lending left thousands of people homeless."
Because to me that is, a (not so distant) future housing market drop, probably much bigger than the one we saw in 2008.
But why do today what you can put off till tomorrow?
