Pearl Lake or Something?!

I've been re-watching seasons 1&2 of the 'Twin Peaks' TV show and at the same time Chris Knowles at 'The Secret Sun' has been writing of the proliferation of pearls in pop-culture, advertising and news media lately.

After re-watching the first two seasons of 'Twin Peaks' again and after reading Mark Frost's recent books about the 'Twin Peaks' show, I noticed just how much Pearl Lake played a rather central place in the mythology of the town and characters of the fictional TV show.
I noticed in the news recently that Margot Robbie is the new ambassador for Chanel, too.

This pearl meme does seem to go deep alright, but just how deep?

I guess this pearl post sounds Looney Tunes to most readers, right Doc?-)
And as far as pearl/Siren/drowning posts go, this ain't all folks, there are more coming that I'm working on right now.
And they are pearlers, too;-)
