I saw the new "Mad Max" movie on opening day with my younger son and we both loved it, but apparently, according to the movie's Wikipedia page -

" As of 30 May 2024 [the anniversary of Joan of Arc being burnt at the stake], 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' has grossed $37.2 million in the United States and Canada, and $32.8 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $70 million.[3][4] Its debut has been described as "disappointing", having the lowest box office takings on the Memorial Day weekend since 1995."
