And it's a movie that wants to have its moon cake and eat it, too.
I couldn't help thinking this film with the reoccurring black cat was a cross between Rodney Ascher's two films 'Room 237' and 'A Glitch in the Matrix' in themes.

There was also the use of a straw broom which caught fire on the NASA base, so maybe Frank's song 'Witchcraft' could have made it into the soundtrack alongside 'Fly Me to the Moon'?
What's UAP NASA?đđŊđ¸It wasn't lost on me that the two main stars of the movie have green eyes, either;-)And there is a part of the movie where Moe says that there are aliens amongst us ... and Moe should know.
Woody Harrelson plays Moe Berkus in the movie as a secret service/man in black type figure. The Philosophy of GHOST IN THE SHELL and UNDER THE SKIN?đģđģđŊ
I also made the mistake of seeing 'Twisters' right after 'Fly Me to the Moon' and in my book is the worst film that I have seen at the cinemas all year.
There were 'Wizard of Oz' references all through the movie, which had me thinking that there was no place like home, but clicking my heels together did nothing but relieve a little of the boredom and stop me falling into a dream state ... like when Dorothy leaves Kansas for Oz:-)

I find it amusing that Steve and Bindi were both born in the Year of the Tiger and can't help thinking of that wonderful Chinese movie 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' (which came out in the Year of the Dragon of 2000) when I think of Terri and Steve, for some reason:-)

Stanley Kubrick was a Dragon who passed away in the Year of the Rabbit of 1999, which was the year 'The Matrix' was released, just sayin'>;-)
