I only bought and watched the 1995 and 2017 movie versions of 'Ghost in the Shell' after reading about the 1995 anime version in Victoria Nelson's book 'The Secret Life of Puppets' this year.

And I only watched 'Under the Skin' this year after watching a short video of Jake Kotze's recently, featuring Scarlett in her latest movie 'Asteroid City'.
It was kind of ironic seeing this newspaper article below about female brain donations when I had just watched the 2017 movie version of 'Ghost in the Shell' where it starts off with a brain being transplanted into a female robotic frame.
Now I just have to see 'Asteroid City' before my next birthday;-)
