Linda Ronstadt (AKA PKD's Linda Fox) Turns 79 Today?🎂🦊🥳🎉

Linda Ronstadt, born on July 15, 1946

I still haven't finished reading PKD's 'The Divine Invasion', as I gave up reading it around the time that the Linda Fox pop singer comes into the novel, as it was boring my socks off.

I wonder if Dick was inspired to write his 1981 novel from seeing Linda's appearance on 'The Darin Invasion' in 1970?-)

I had planned to write a post about Linda Ronstadt when she was in the news giving it to Trump, and I had stumbled across a CD by Linda and Emmylou Harris called 'Western Wall/The Tucson Sessions' in the Op Shop I work in part time.

The CD case was smashed, so I got it cheap

But I'll replace the case and give it to a street library today

Every 15th of July

As it's not my cup of tea when it comes to music I like

I guess I'll have to go back to where I left off with 'The Divine Invasion' and finish reading it, as I don't like starting a book and never finishing it, no matter how bad it is, unless it is a real stinker.

And I'm still yet to read Dick's Exegesis, so that's something to look forward to ... NOT!

To be honest, I don't think PKD is that good of an author after slogging through most of his books, after listening to people like Christopher L. Knowles and other Dickheads going on about what a genius this guy was.

I think CLK is just as crazy as PKD was with all of his shadow women like Liz Frasier, Jodie Foster, and poor old Winona Ryder who he raves on about all the time, no matter how amusing that can be to someone like me who reads and listens to him descend into the madness of his own thinking:-)   

I think people like Knowles and Dick do too much thinking with their dicks when it comes to famous women and their roles in their minds of being sybils:-)

I'm pretty sure Chris Knowles was born in the Year of the Horse and will turn 60 next year in 2026 the Year of the Horse, ironically ... the same year Linda would turn 80?
