National Days for July 18th? πŸ’»πŸ‘‚πŸŸπŸ˜πŸ¦‹

I might have to put caviar on my shopping list for today after listening to what days we are supposed to celebrate or take part in today, but sour candy is not going onto my shopping list I'm afraid?
National Days for July 18
I always have mushrooms in my fridge for when friends pop around, but I don't know why these guys on the talk back radio show above were talking about mushrooms and how relevant it is to July 18th?
Maybe I just wasn't listening properly on 'World Listening Day'?-)
It's also 'Nelson Mandela International Day' so I guess everyone has their own take on what that day means to them?-)
Maybe I should watch 'Cry Freedom' today?-)
The Biko/Mandela Effect?
UPDATE: July 19th, 2025
I did end up buying two small bottles of
lumpfish caviar yesterday and slowly devouring them with a teaspoon while watching my two football teams (The Sharks and The Lions) win their games last night.

Which was slightly better than eating fried chicken, but not that much better.
I can't see myself eating either for quite a while, to be honest.
National Fried Chicken Day Comes Before National Don’t Put All Your Eggs in One Omelet Day?πŸ₯šπŸ³πŸ”
And while I did say that I wouldn't be buying any sour candy to celebrate
'National Sour Candy Day', I did come across some 'Kiwi Sour Peaches' in the New Zealand produce section of my local supermarket and was keen to taste what they were like.
They actually remind me of a current 'President of the USA' for some reason;-)
πŸ‘ I'll have to check out what the peach emoji means now :-P
