I'm always interested in people's explanations of just what "synchronicity" is or means to them personally.
To me it is a mystery as to what causes a "synchronicity" to happen, whether that be "God", for lack of a better word (and I'm not opposed to people using that word, I just don't like people telling me what "God" is ... and what might happen to me if I don't except their version of "God"), guardian angels or the individuals who experience what to them seems like a "synchronicity".
I tend to favour the "God" explanation personally, but to me "God" is a mystery, not just some mythological imaginary friend that people want you to be afraid of sending your soul to hell if you don't toe the line.
