I was surprised that I could still fit into my old
Spurs jersey in Singapore, but looking at
this old photo I guess I had
some growing room?-)

I bought the above Singapore Lions jersey on a Friday in Singapore when I was over there in August this year.

I had worn my old Tottenham Hotspur jersey for the last time on my trip to Universal Studios on the Thursday and wanted a shirt made out of that same sort of material to keep me kinda cool in Singapore's humidity when standing in the sun on August 9th for the 60th anniversary fireworks -

I bought my Singapore soccer jersey the night I visited the Merlion Statue, which did turn out to be a good omen, as my AFL team the Brisbane Lions went back-to-back in the AFL Grand Final this year:-)

Maybe I'll have to visit the Merlion Statue again next year before the 2026 AFL Grand Final?-)

When I was wearing my Tottenham Hotspur jersey for the last time on my trip to Universal Studios, people kept asking me if I was a Spurs supporter, and I had to keep explaining to them why I'm not anymore, since they sacked Ange, as I wrote in this July '25 post -

FIFA International Window

I'll be cheering Singapore on this November in their bid to qualify for the Asian Cup.

And I'd love to watch a game in that stadium I only viewed from afar from the Singapore Flyer and the MRT while I was over there.

But after watching the F1 race on TV this year I don't want to be over there at F1 time -
