Ironically, this week I'm having all the tree stumps in my backyard grinded out of the ground of the tress that I've had cut down this year, so I can plant more bird and butterfly friendly trees that won't grow as high and whose roots won't get into my pipes or push my new retaining wall over like the old ones that were planted by previous owners.
I won't be planting any Sycamore Trees, or any trees from 'Twin Peaks' in my backyard though:-)
But I do need to get a bigger Christmas tree for my Livingroom now that I have a granddaughter who will be expecting to find presents under it every year:-)
