I don't like shows about real life serial killers like Ed Gein and Ted Bundy and I have to say that I'm all for the death penalty for clear cut killers like that.
And if that makes me a monster, then so be it.
I find it ironic that Ed Gein died on July 26th, which is Stanley Kubrick's and Carl Jung's birthday and that Robert Bloch the author of 'Psycho' passed away on September 23rd, which is the anniversary of Freud's passing and also my birthday:-)
I see that Charlie Hunnam who plays Ed Gein was born on April 10th, which is also the publication date for the novel 'Psycho':-)
My interest in watching this season of the show was the pop cultural aspect of why people like Hitchcock would want to make a film like Psycho, and why the general public have a fascination with true crime, and especially true crime podcasts now?

I guess that my interest in listening to Joey on a Jungian podcast talking about playing Anthony Perkins is how Osgood Perkins, who plays a young Norman Bates in 'Psycho II' feels about how his life has turned out so far, especially with his mother dying on board one of the planes that hit the Twin Towers on 9/11?
Osgood's grandfather passed away on September 21, 1937, exactly 10 years to the day before Stephen King was born.
Monkeys, Monoliths, 2001 and 9/11? ππ¦΄ππ’πππI should add that in the last episode of 'Monster' Ed Gein is watching MTV and KISS pop up on the TV screen.
13 days after to be exact.
