While you may never find yourself stranded on an island, life often brings moments when you feel unsure or adrift. This day encourages you to pause and reflect on those feelings.
What makes this day particularly interesting is its urge to consider navigation in a broader sense. It’s not just about physical maps but also the tools and systems we rely on in everyday life. It pinpoints the importance of resourcefulness and adaptability.

I bought this compass flask above when I was in America this year looking for owls around the falls they used in the TV show 'Twin Peaks'.
I didn't find any owls when I was up there, but 'The Owl Guy' (Mike Clelland) is always going on about synchronicity being like an inner compass, so I bought the flask, as a memento of my visit to the 'Twin Peaks' area of Washington state.
