How to Celebrate World Television Day Tonight? πŸ“ΊπŸ‘€πŸ’©

Well, I went to
the cinema to see the new Running Man movie, but it turned out to be one of those movies that I should have waited to watch on a streaming service, rather than going to the cinema to watch.
For once the critics at 'Rotten Tomatoes' got it right.
I'd have given it a 50% RT rating if I was writing a review for the movie and it would go something like these RT reviews below.
It's certainly not as bad or as comical as the 1987 movie version, but it ain't that much better, to tell the truth.
I should have stayed home and watched the You Tubes of 'TV Nation' on my TV instead.
Which I actually started doing after I got home from the cinema tonight, never having watched the show before today.
It's actually quite eye opening watching this
TV show from the mid 90s in the mid 2020s.

In episode 1 of season 1 of 'TV Nation' they have a black actor and a real life convicted white felon try to hail a cab in New York to see just who the cab driver will stop for ... with no real surprises in that segment, but I thought it was funny how in the movie I saw tonight at the cinema that the first thing The Running Man does when he is released into the public is catch a cab, with no worries at all:-)
Well, you know what I'll be watching tomorrow on my TV:-)
And I don't care what the neighbours think about it;-)
It's surprising how much has changed since the mid 90s, but just how much things are still the same today.
Monster TV Series (2022 – )

I like how they even lobbied Washington D.C to try and get a 'TV Nation Day' passed as an official holiday:-)
