Lana Del Rey Down-Under

Lana on stage trying to get used to being Down-Under?-)
I got to see Lana Del Rey (AKA Elizabeth Woolridge Grant) play the Riverstage in my hometown of Brisbane tonight, thanks to me seeing an advert in the last Australian version of the Rolling Stone magazine to be printed, which I wrote about in this post -
Life Is Fine? Waving and Not Drowning in 2018?
The moon was kind of out tonight, but mostly behind threatening rain clouds, which I did my best shamanic magic to fend off and I like to think that I was mostly successful doing so too.
It was bucketing down for most of the day, before the concert, so it was somewhat of a miracle that we didn't get any significant rain on the night to dampen things ... my things in particular:-)
With everyone standing up sometimes the only view I could get of Lana was on the side screens.
Or on the people's phones in front of my face.
Or between the shoulders of the six-foot-tall girls in front of me.
Doh!
Lana sung a lot of good old songs, but I was waiting for my favourite, 'Off to the Races', which I wrote about in the post -
BTTF and Off to the Races with Lana Del Rey on Melbourne Cup Day?
And she sung that song at the end of the show.
So, my Easter weekend was off and running and I just knew now that tomorrow would be a Good Friday;-)
And I even got back to the carpark elevator in time just like I had told Mummy that I would;-)
Lots of interesting things happening in my hometown right now it seems.
Happy Easter everyone.
