Leaving Sin City (Las Vegas) ... For Good?🎰🎲👼

Two and a half days in
Vegas turned out to be not enough days to see what I wanted to see on the strip.
I remember pulling out this book above from my carry-on bag on the flight to Denver from Vegas wondering if I would ever bother coming back to Vegas again?
I was pissed that the movie session we had bought tickets for back in Australia for 'The Sphere' on the Friday night we arrived in Vegas was cancelled, even though in hindsight we wouldn't have got to see the Blue Man Group that night if we had gone to
'The Sphere'.
But the Sunday morning that we thought we would get tickets to
'The Sphere' the session sold out, and we had a plane to catch that afternoon.
So, I wasn't going to get to see
'The Sphere' from the inside on this American trip, just the outside from the High Roller -
High Rolling Around Vegas? 🎰🎲🎡
Our plan on Sunday morning was to checkout of 'The Luxor' and leave our bags at check-in, but we were told that we could only leave them there for a minium tip of $5 for each bag, because "they" work on tips.
I thought "what the F#ck?!", shouldn't that be a service that the hotel/casino provides to encourage customers to return to book a room there again next time they are in town?
It wasn't the money for me; it was the principle.
Most hotels I've stayed in around Australia that has been the case, but not in this dump that doesn't even provide tea/coffee making facilities or a fridge in your room.
F#ck 'The Luxor' I won't be staying there again, if I came back to Vegas.
I told my son not to worry about leaving our bags with the hotel reception and to just head off to the airport and have lunch in the airport terminal, check in and chill while we waited for our Denver flight.
My first ever Wendy's meal:-)
Instead of eating in the casino at one of their restaurants and seeing their Titanic exhibition.
I had no intention of seeing their King Tut's Tomb experience, though, as I've seen plenty of those kinds of exhibitions back in Australia through the years -
From 8 and to Infinity and Beyond?
The Vegas Strip reminds me of walking down sideshow ally at the annual EKKA with all the carneys trying to suck you out of your money for something that looks good but probably isn't.
These
scumbags even come up from behind you or sometimes front on at you slapping prostitute "sex worker" cards in your face, usually for the bargain price of $69 dollars.
Me and my son called them
slap-slap cards, because of these pimps slapping cards in the air in front of your face.
I don't use their "services" myself, but I took some cards home to show some of my friends back home in Australia
An Alexa from Amazon?
Seeing the Alexa card made me think of a 'South Park' episode where in the future Stan had married an Alexa robot from Amazon:-)
Well, I was heading to Denver from Vegas.
I had forgotten that atomic bombs were tested not too far from Vegas, until I was flicking through the Vegas book on the plane to Denver and saw the article above in it.
So, would I visit Vegas again in the future if I had a choice and got the day/s off?
Probablly, but I wouldn't stay in 'The Luxor' again.
My Vegas Starbucks cup:-)
Danke Schoen Las Vegas?🚗🎰🦩
