Leaving Las Vegas ... For Denver?🎰🌄🎲

I wrote in my last post how I told my son to head to the
Las Vegas airport early, because I wasn't going to pay a hotel to mind our bags at reception when I feel this should be a service the hotel should provide for its guests.
Well, as luck would have it, 'The Luxor' did me and my son a favour by "encouraging" us to head to the airport early, because as we were sitting at the Vegas airport charging our phones and reading about how a cyclone was heading for our hometown that week, the Canberra Raiders football team showed up ready to catch a plane to San Francisco, as we were waiting to board our flight to Denver.
The Canberra Raiders leaving Las Vegas
Then
The Sharks great
Andrew "ET" Ettingshausen showed up and shook the coach of the Canberra Raiders Ricky Stuart's hand?!
ET is one of my all-time Sharks heroes and while I wanted to say G'Day and shake his hand a voice in my head said never meet your heroes ... so I just sat in my seat pretending to be on my phone while taking sly photos of him while he wasn't looking my way.
He was probably thinking that the guy in the Sharks tracksuit top (me) didn't know who he was.
I was about to get up and congratulate Ricky on his team beating the NZ Warriors the night before, even though I was cheering for the Warriors in that game and then Andrew turned up, and I stayed in my seat.
Just as I thought nothing on my trip could top this, the current 4 times NRL champions Penrith Panthers showed up apparently going on the same plane.
That kind of stole Ricky's thunder.
And then f#ck me, here comes the Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon, which means that my team The Sharks are also catching that plane.
So, here was The Sharks coming from one side of the airport and The Panthers coming from the other side of the airport to catch the same plane as The Raiders.
Then here is Nathan Cleary in front of me getting his photo taken.
I said to my son that with a bit of cropping of the original photo I could probably use it as a blackmail photo to send the Nathan's girlfriend Mary Fowler?-)
I just want Nathan to sign his first-born son to The Sharks and then this photo doesn't have to see the light of day;-)
OMG, it's Nicho Hynes my current Sharks hero.
Don't worry Nicho, because what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas ... unless you are Nathan Cleary;-P
What turned out to be a boring wait for a plane to Denver turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip, no thanks to
 'The Luxor'.
My son even bought 2 footballs at the stadium the night before for gifts to take back to Australia and ended up getting them signed by
Nathan Cleary and Nicho Hynes.
And don't think that signing those footballs gets you off the hook with your first-born son playing for The Sharks Nathan;-)
Leaving Sin City (Las Vegas) ... For Good?🎰🎲👼
