Would YOU Regard Your Life a Success ... So Far?

What constitutes success in a life?
I stumbled across these two ATP podcast episodes above featuring Bill Bennett when I was searching for podcast episodes about Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy after listening to Gary Lachman talking about his books about Steiner and Helena Blavatsky on some other podcasts and an ATP episode came up featuring a woman named Tanis Helliwell discussing some of Steiner's beliefs?!
Sleep Talking From Almost 99 Years Ago and Being "Woke" Today?
No wonder I've never heard of Tanis before ... hmm?
Tanis certainly has an active imagination if nothing else, I think.
I can't say that I'm really into Steiner or Blavatsky's beliefs all that much, but they certainly have made some ripples on the world stage of history.
Gary even says that Blavatsky was the person who introduced Gandhi to the main Hindu writings.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
 (2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948)
Today is Gandhi's birthday, so I thought with Bill writing a blog post about Gandhi being an example of a successful life, that this post might be something to ponder on your hopefully successful life journey.
The elephant in the truck on the journey?-)

Somewhere in Time ... Like Now?

Doodle celebrates Christopher Reeve
The "Superman" actor would
have been
69 on September 25
Based on the Richard Matheson
novel,
Bid Time Return
I have yet to watch the movie 'Somewhere in Time' or read the book which the movie was adapted from, but in late September in a series of "coincidences" crossroad-ed at the point of time I was at back then which made me think just how connected things really are in life.
Around my birthday a 'Cover to Credits' (now there is a life metaphor if I've ever heard one:-) podcast about the movie/book 'Somewhere in Time'/'Bid Time Return' hit my iPad through Apple Podcasts not long after I had been listening to a podcast featuring the producer of that movie talking about losing the love of his life.
I had already read Stephen Simon's book 'The Force is with You' years ago and written a post about hearing him on Alison DuBois' podcast in 2020 -
ATP Podcast: Stephen Simon 2021
And I have written a post or two about the author of
'Bid Time Return' not long ago, as well -

World Smile Day is the First Friday in October?-)

Harvey would have
 turned
100 this year:-)
Ball founded the World Smile Foundation in 1999 a non-profit charitable trust that supports children's causes. The group licenses Smileys and organizes World Smile Day, which takes place on the first Friday of October each year and is a day dedicated to "good cheer and good works". The catchphrase for the day is "Do an act of kindness - help one person smile".
National Day
(Chinese: 国庆节; pinyin: guóqìng jié; lit. 'national celebration day')
I find it funny that my Brisbane wall calendar has a picture of the Brisbane Riverfire for the month of October when it was held last month:-)

World Blindness Awareness Month
It's a funny old time of year, isn't it?-)
