Aboot Canadians

Maple leaf?
I thought I had found a maple tree today in the Australian town of Bangalow, but when I Googled a picture of a maple leaf it was a totally different shape to the leaf off this tree.
Shows how much I know aboot Canada ... and trees.

So, I guess I should have done my homework before bragging to my American friends about finding a maple tree in Australia -

This is a picture of a real maple leaf
P.S. I found out a while ago that the tree in Bangalow is an oak tree.

    The Canadian maple leaf is just one of many species, some have 5, 7 or even more points on their leaves, so this could still be a maple.

    It's odd - I've been having maple leaf syncs for weeks. The triple pointed knife edge leaf.
