Unpacking 'The Wolfen' and Other Strieber Stories?🐺👽👾

My secondhand copy of 'The Wolfen'
I find Whitley Strieber an enigmatic author with his claims about "The Visitors", but wouldn't THEY have influenced him in writing his earlier books, like 'The Wolfen' and 'The Hunger' if as he claims "The Visitors" have been influencing him all of his life?
I think there is a lot to unpack when it comes to Whitley's books and movies;-)
