House Dreams/Nightmares?ðŸĄðŸ›ŒðŸ’ĪðŸ˜ą

The old house
Most of the time I can't remember my dreams just after waking, but one dream I did remember around the time my father
passed away was my childhood house being overshadowed by huge threatening black storm clouds that I felt would flatten my old house.
Mum sold the house, and the new owners renovated the old house and transported it away and then built a new house on the property.
The new house
So, I guess my dream/nightmare did come to pass in hindsight.
I wish I could remember
more of my dreams in my waking life, but they seem to be locked away from my conscious mind most times

May 31st is World Parrot Day, National Autonomous Vehicle Day and Clint Eastwood's Birthday? ðŸĶœðŸš˜ðŸ‘Ū🎂

Why does today remind me of my visit to
San Francisco earlier this year?
I used to own a DVD of 'The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill' and gave it away years ago, thinking that I would never be going to San Francisco in this lifetime.
And after walking up Telegraph Hill back in February this year (but not seeing any parrots) I'm kicking myself for giving the DVD away to a secondhand bookstore now.
It didn't occur to me until today that Telegraph Hill was the spot the movie was filmed on.
As I could never remember the whole title of the movie and just referred to it as the wild parrot movie.
How to Celebrate World Parrot Day
Every May 31st
We caught an Autonomous Vehicle on our first day in SF
We caught it after a 'Survivor' night at a SF Bar ironically
For a 21-minute ride through San Francisco to our hotel
I wasn't too far off having a heart-attack walking up Telegraph Hill
Clint's birthday is May 31st?!
We walked up Telegraph Hill right after getting off the boat from Alcatraz Island, and then walked back to our hotel room, and surprisingly I didn't die that day:-)

God Forbid Throwing the Baptized Baby Out with the Bathwater?🛀 ⛪👞🛁

These two podcast episodes hit my iPad around the same time this morning in Australia, and I have to say that these two shows (God Forbid and Neon Galactic) are in my top ten podcasts at the moment.
Neon Galactic: Episode 102
Both of these recent episodes touch on similar themes.
I've written about the God Forbid podcast earlier in the year, before I went to America -
God Forbid ... Close Encounters, Drugs and NDEs? ðŸ›ļðŸŠĶðŸ‘ŧðŸ™ˆðŸ™‰ðŸ™ŠðŸ‘―
I also wrote a post featuring the God Forbid podcast this week -
May 29th, 2025
I still consider myself
"spiritual, but not religious" for lack of a better term, even when one the "experts" bring up the term in the latest
God Forbid podcast.
And the host also brings up the term about the baby in the bathwater, hence the title of this post, where I just made it the baptized baby, which I guess I would have to count myself as one, since I was baptized in the Church of England by my parents (who weren't religious) just after I was born, and I was confirmed a Liberal Catholic in my early adulthood by my own choice, and still am a member, but haven't been for a long time.
I still consider myself a Liberal Catholic if I had to slap a label on myself when it comes to religion, but I don't have to I feel, as I'm more "spiritual, but not religious" these days;-)
Dr. Iya Whiteley -- Neon Galactic -- Episode 102
Watching the Neon Galactic You Tube of the podcast episode I noticed a mandala on the wall behind David Stuss and thought of the latest 'This Jungian Life' podcast episode I just listened to yesterday about the mandala Jung wrote about and studied:-)
This also reminded me of
Mike Clelland stating in a March 7th 'Backpacker Radio' podcast episode that in his research of owl/UFO abductees, how a lot of these people become trained Reiki healers -
I Was in the Same State (Colorado) as The Owl Guy, While He Was There ... Maybe?🌎ðŸĶ‰
And wasn't David Lynch into Transcendental Meditation?

Tracky Dack Day Lasts for 31 Days in May?🗓

I had not heard of 'Tracky Dack Day' (which lasts all May) until seeing it on the 'Days of the Year' website this year.
Any Day in May
Every May 31st
While today is the last 'Tracky Dack Day' (which lasts all May) this year, it's also 'Smile Day' today, so why not slip on a pair of tracky dacks and watch a movie like 'Patch Adams' or 'Joker':-)
Turn that frown upside down today ... for tomorrow we die ... unless we die today, that is:-)
Every May 31st
It's also 'What You Think Upon Grows Day' today, so maybe scratch that viewing of
'Joker':-)
Loretta Swit, Emmy-winner who played Houlihan
on pioneering TV series M.A.S.H., has died at 87
And some sad news breaking on 'Smile Day' here this morning in Australia, is the passing of Loretta Swit.
It might be a bit late to binge watch M.A.S.H. today though.

I Was in the Same State (Colorado) as The Owl Guy, While He Was There ... Maybe?🌎ðŸĶ‰

I was watching/listening to the 'Backpacker Radio' podcast episode above again this afternoon (as I was half asleep when I first listened to it on my iPad) and heard the hosts say that they recorded that show on March the 7th somewhere in Colorado, even though it was uploaded on April 7th on the You Tube channel.
As a personal synch, I had just spent nights in DenverColorado and was leaving Denver on March the 6th for Seattle, Washington:-)

My breakfast at the Denver Airport on March 6th
I'm glad we never had to use the tornado shelter:-)
Recorded in Colardo on March 7th?!
Where I was on March the 6th, 2025
On March the 7th me and my son caught a bus out to North Bend to visit the cafe where 'Twin Peaks' was filmed ... and I was hoping to see an owl up in the bush around the falls, but alas, no luck with the live owls as usual:-(
Twelves Day? ㍤✹
Where I was on March the 7th, 2025
I did stumble across a stuffed owl outside the diner:-)
It was surreal eating in what basically was a set for
'Twin Peaks'.
Where I was on March the 7th, 2025
And having a slice of
cherry pie and a cup of coffee here.
This guy was the best Uber driver we had the luck to run across while we were in America.
He actually talked to us, unlike half the Uber drivers we caught rides off in The States, and he showed us all the 'Twin Peaks' filming locations around the area on our way to the falls.
He even stopped at the bridge so we could walk on it and take some photos.
At least the weather was good for us on March the 7th.
This was the day I bought my 'The Owls Are Not What They Seem' sticker from the diner:-)
