National Nurse’s Week Starts the Day After Dying Matters Awareness Week Starts?🏥🪦👻🦉

I wrote a post yesterday about listening to a Hidden Experience podcast about Earl Grey, a nurse who passed away in April this year and shared a story about a young Cerebral Palsy sufferer who passed away in his care -

Finishing a Bird Book on Cartoonists Day?🐦📖🖋
curlew at my neighbour's front door:-)
World Curlew Day? 🌍🪺🌎🪹🌏
The bookmark I used to read that book I have hanging behind my Cinthia Crawford blue alien sculpture now, as I don't want to take it out of the case it's in.
The owl bookmark I bought from Powell's Books in Portland, Oregon when I was there.
Today is also Sigmund Freud's birthday, so maybe I should read his book I bought recently, even though I'm not a big fan of Freud's theories
I was born on the anniversary of his death, by the way:-)
It is the Year of the Snake after all;-)
So many books to read and so little time
And I did find what looks to me like a dead baby Eastern Brown Snake in my backyard while doing some weeding last week.
I threw the dead snake back in the garden where I found it and when I went to show it to my son the next morning it was gone ... probably eaten by a bird?
I think it's time to get my old retaining wall fixed, as there is probably a bloody big deadly snake under there somewhere.
If I set a foot wrong in my back yard now, I may find myself waking up to a nurse attending a snake bite wound, or maybe I wouldn't wake up at all?
May 6th
Maybe I should read
Jung's 'Dreams' book, as well?
And print this poem above from my owl bookmark onto my pillow today?-)
