Is Rivermind Just an Allegory for Netflix and Other Streamers? ⼮🧠📺🤔

I recently cut off my Netflix subscription after watching the two latest seasons of Black Mirror.

I'd only just re-subscribed a few months back so I could re-watch 'Boy Swallows Universe' and the new Black Mirror and Squid-Game seasons and anything else that took my fancy, which wasn't much to be honest.

I think I re-subscribed after I cut my BINGE subscription off, after I had watched 'How to Make Gravy', which is a similar story to 'Boy Swallows Universe' -

Episode 1 of Season 7 (Common People) was my clear favourite of the season, and I didn't need an (Ending Explained) You Tube guru to tell me that this episode was mainly a piss take on Netflix and other streaming services who keeping hiking up price plans and putting advertising into the mix to keep prices down;-)

Of couse, the show is also probably having a crack at the American health care insurance system.

But it's mainly about Black Mirror biting the hand that feeds them ... for now:-)

I visited the Netflix Store when I was walking down Hollywood Blvd star gazing at the footpath.

My conscience was bugging me to go in and have a look round, but not to buy anything after seeing the prices in American dollars;-)

I'd already spent too much money on less stranger things in America as it was:-)

Mind you if they had have had a pink 'Boy Swallows Universe' t-shirt in there I probably wouldn't have listened to my inner cricket:-)  

Although I've never been one for wearing gimmicky t-shirts in the past.

Although a personalized Squid Game bomber jacket would be tempting.

You've got to remember to keep your head on when shopping overseas and remind yourself that money is easier to spend than to make when you are just one of the common people;-)

Especially when using Australian dollars to shop:-)

I'm no mug when it comes to Netflix:-)
