Pulling the Thread ... on Synchronicity?📕🧵🤔
It was only when I picked it up that I realized that it was a notebook.
I was surprised to see a white owl inside the book like the one I saw at the Oregon Zoo when I was staying in Portland this year, like I wrote about in this recent post -
Where Did the Road Go: The Lady and the Serpents and One Cycle of the Snake with "The Owl Guy"?🛸🐍🦉👽I have no intention of writing in my new owl book, as I prefer to see it as the work of art that it is and have placed the notebook on the top shelf of a bookcase in my computer room.
I had actually gone down to the hall yesterday, to where all the craft for sale is made by volunteers, to buy a painting of a black swan that I had seen on the wall the week before when I went to buy some hand towels, and had admired the painting but I thought I had nowhere to hang it on my walls at home.
The black swan painting now hangs on my bedroom wall and fits just like a glove in the spot where my old print I bought in 2016 from the observatory and wrote about in this post, used to be -
Just Breathe?!
Just Breathe?!
The old space print I had in that spot had deteriorated over time ironically, so I binned it.
After I had hung the black swan picture on my wall after coming home from work today, my mother rang me to tell me she had been to the doctor today and was told her cancer has come back, so that was a black swan event for my family, I guess. But I bought the painting because it reminded me of a real black swan that swam up to me in Sydney right before I watched my AFL team the Brisbane Lions play the Sydney Swans at the SCG ... but that's for another blog post.
The last time a real black swan swam up to me was in 2016 the month my father had passed -
