I saw a picture of Heidi Klum in the news on the red carpet at the Met Gala yesterday, which reminded me that I saw her on the back of a bedroom/trailer going up and down Hollywood Blvd directing a shoot for some bedroom scene for something (movie/commercial?) when I was in LA in March.

It was my last day in America and LA was anything but sunny this day.

I'd just had a burger at Wahlburgers and was walking up Hollywood Blvd with my son to go to Amoeba Music to buy a 'LA LA Land' DVD he wanted to buy for some reason and which I wrote about in this post -

The first time the set on wheels rolled by up Hollywood Blvd. some girls on the footpath were yelling "HEIDI ... HEIDI" and waving frantically and I asked them "who's Heidi"?

They told me it was Heidi Klum, so I asked my son to do a search on his phone for Heidi Klum.

I kind of missed getting photos the first time the set passed us, but as we were returning from Amoeba Music the set rolled past again, and this time I had my cell phone camera ready.

And just when we thought that was it, they came back down the other side of the road again.

So, that was my brush with fame in Hollywood ... that I know of any way ... believe it, or not:-)

And don't ask me what they were shooting, as for all I know it could have been a commercial for a new beauty product, like 'The Substance';-)

UPDATE: I found out it was a shoot for "Germany's Next Topmodel".
